Natural Farming in Jails: Transformative Initiative

A remarkable training session on Natural farming is currently underway with over 100 inmates at Paithan Jail, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. This initiative aims to bring a positive shift in their lives while paving the way for self-reliance and rehabilitation. As part of the program, a demo plot is being developed within the jail premises, allowing inmates to practice and implement Natural farming techniques.

Key Training Topics:

  •  Utilizing organic manure and cow urine for sustainable farming

  •  Chemical-free farming methods
  • Soil conservation and enhancing crop quality
This initiative promotes environmental sustainability and offers inmates a fresh perspective and a meaningful path toward reintegration into society.

Acknowledgments:
State Agri Coordinator Sudhir Chapate ji, Natural Farming Trainer Ghanshyam Udavant ji, Aarti Tai Runwal ji, and the entire Paithan Art of Living team for spearheading this inspiring effort.
